Welcome to the Triangle East Amateur Radio Association homepage, also
known as TEARA!! TEARA is a non-profit organization
assembled to encourage the exchange of ideas and information, to foster
friendship and fellowship, to keep Amateurs abreast of area "happenings",
and to share and promote amateur radio with people from all walks of life.
TEARA was founded on January 10th of 1989, and has become an active and diverse Amateur
Radio Club. TEARA's membership reflects a wide variety of interests.
HF operation and contesting,
DXing, home-brewing, vintage radio equipment
construction and restoration, CW,
VHF/UHF multimode operation,
packet and computers, amateur radio classes,
special events, repeaters, Field Day operation, club meetings,
and more provide much activity for the newcomer and
seasoned amateur alike.
