These are still-shots I took of some of my fly fishing equipment.
Attempting an "impressionistic" look, I modified the images using
a Beta version of Microsoft PhotoDraw.

| Silence of the Lamson |
| This is the Lamson LP 1.5 I just purchased from Walt Winter. I haven't
even had the chance to fish with it yet--except in my dreams--but I
can tell you that the drag is extremely sweet. |

| A Bunch of Bass Bugs |
| These are the bass bugs I use at the neighborhood pond down the
street. I've tried different patterns, but I inevitably return
to the yellow popper you see prominently featured here. |

| A Penn is Mightier than the Sword |
| These are a couple of my fishing rods: a 7' 4wt Fenwick and
an 8.5' 5wt Penn travel rod. Both rods are in the $150 range and I
love them. One day I'll buy a really nice trout rod, but these have
served me well thus far. |

| Nothing Beats a Bougle |
| I bought this reel to go with my
infamous bamboo fly rod. What this reel might lack in practicality it makes
up for in classic Hardy quality and sheer good looks. |
