Fantasy Hockey League

So let's say you're one of the many people who like to play fantasy hockey. Right now, the NHL lockout may be putting a minor crimp in those plans. If so, I just might have a solution for you.

In addition writing this site, my hockey addiction extends to being the commissioner of a sim hockey league. Sim hockey, in case you're wondering, it a lot like fantasy hockey, except that instead of tracking real-life players' performance in real games, you use a software program to run games based on the ratings players have in skills such as shooting, checking, etc.

Right now, the leagues (there's actually two of them -- a major league and a minor league) are in the closing weeks of a season. Preparations for the next season will be beginning soon, probably some time in January 2005. I'm hoping to get some new managers for next season, and that's where you come in.

If I've piqued your interest, head to the Transeuropean Hockey League website for more information. The TEHL is the minor league; when I need a new manager for the major league (the Transamerican Hockey League), I pick one of the TEHL managers. If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a line (see the front page of the Bush League Factor site for contact info).
