Welcome to my page! My name is
Steve Vinson. I live in Zebulon, NC. This page site is provided by
Ipass.net , my Internet provider. I'm
just getting started, so keep checking for my progress!
I live in Zebulon, North Carolina a small town 20 miles east of Raleigh, North Carolina our State Capital. The town is small, only 4,500 residents, and has a lot of agriculture supporting the town. We have several large industries that have allowed the town to grow and support an increase in population. Some of these local industries are: Glaxo Pharmaceutical, Blount Industries, Siemens Engineering, Measurements Group, NMI Plastics and several smaller companies.
I'm a Pharmacist by profession, but have several hobbies that I enjoy when not at work. I enjoy amateur radio, scuba diving, shooting, rescue work, and baseball.
I have been honored by being allowed to assist the Carolina Mudcats Baseball Team training staff. They were the AA Minor League affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball thru to end of the 1998 season. In 1999 we changed affiliates to the Colorado Rockies. I have also assisted the trainer with the Rockies in the past. I have made many friends that are now playing in Major League Baseball as well as those still trying to get to the Major League Level. I will add several pages later devoted to Baseball. And to my very special friend ... Muddy the Mudcat, the mascot of the Carolina Mudcat Baseball Team. Check out my Carolina Mudcats page
Amateur radio has been an enjoyable hobby. I have a General Class License and my call sign is KD4WIW. My wife and son also have their licenses, but are not as active as I am. I will have several pages devoted to this hobby. I have pictures of my tower that I will add very soon. And I'm working on my ham shack so photos of that will appear from time to time.
