My name is Dave Hockaday, and I'm an
amateur radio operator (WB4IUY) in Central NC. Among other facets of ham radio, I "tinker" and
build things a lot. In doing so, I've collected quite a large accumulation
of test equipment, parts, and "rainy day projects". Those of you who do the
same, know what I'm talking about. In an effort to upgrade my workbench,
I've decided to "thin out" my workshop, garage, utility shed, etc. a bit...relieve my shack of surplus
items (to make room for more!). I'm still sorting, categorizing, and deciding which items go, so
please check back from time to time and see new items that may have been
added or itemized.
If you have any questions about
the items I have listed, please drop a note to me at
hockaday@ipass.net . Please be patient
if I don't respond immediately, as my "real" job often keeps me busy for long hours...
but I will keep your email and respond soon. Please remember that
this _isn't_ a business. Sometimes I can get things out next day, sometimes it
may be several days...but they do go out.
To be fair about this sort of
thing, everything is first come first served. When more than one person asks
for something, they will be given choice based on the order that I receive their
email. I will keep all emails, and if a purchase falls through, I'll move on to
the next in line and make an offer. Just like at
a hamfest, my prices are flexible. Remember, MAKE AN OFFER if you see something you like.
There are only 2 answers (...maybe 3) I can give you. I don't take offense easily.
I'll consider trades if it's something I might want...after all, this is a hamfest!
Please remember that shipping costs are in addition to the price of
the goodies. I can ship U.S. Snail or via UPS through my local Drug
Store/shipper.
(Hey, Youngsville _is_ a rural area!)
I also collect SB/HW series Heathkit amateur
radio gear. If you have any that you wish you dissolve, especially partial/parts
units or rigs that seem beyond hope, please drop me a line with a list of
what you have. I'm currently in search of a SB-110, and a SB-640.
I'm also looking for manuals/copies for a SB-310. I need good faceplates for a
SB-101, SB-301, and a SB-401 (and perhaps a SB-500). Any and most all Heathkit parts rigs
are on my want list. ...But remember, I LIKE junk rigs, so let's talk about
that junker you might have in the closet! Hey, if you like vintage radio,
don't forget to ask me about paint!
I'm searching for a Hallicrafters SX-42
parts rig, as well as a HT-19 TX in any condition. Does anyone have a R-42
matching speaker??
Looking for old Kantronics Interface or
Interface II parts, software, docs, and TU's. Any and all are welcomed...
Searching for a junker Yaesu FT-901/902
DM, or a memory module for same.
I'm compliling conversion data for
any commercial 2-way equipment to the 33 cm (902-928 mhz) amateur band. If you
have any info, please contribute. Also looking to communicate with anyone
who is operational on 33 cm FM. Remember, use it or loose it!
I'm in need of a low-band GE MastrPro mobile RX
strip operating on the low split (25-35ish mhz) with the noise blanker option. I'm
still experimenting with receivers on my 10 meter repeater and would like to
try one of those.
In an effort to speed page loading
and categorize things a bit, I've installed the following buttons and
hypertext. Simply "click" the button for the area you wish to browse.
To return to this page, click the "Back" button on your browser.
As I continue to unearth goodies and the page grows, this
will make loading and reading much easier.
EMAIL me at hockaday@ipass.net if you find anything you want.
The Online Hamfest is temporarily offline, while I
get my list of items for sale updated... check back soon! Meanwhile, check out the sponsors
