A Prairie Home Companion

A Priarie Home Companion is a radio show, produced by Minnesota Public Radio, and broadcast live on public radio stations at 6 pm EST Saturday nights.  It's a variety show - music, skits, a little conversation, and host Garison Kiellor's rambling monolog, the "News from Lake Wobegon" (the little town that time forgot).  If you're not familiar wtih it, you can listen to some of it in RealAudio on their web site.

This was our third trip to Minneapolis/St. Paul, home of the show.

Since this isn't a commercial, I'll skip the gory details.  The mall has three floors that look like this, but go on forever, making a huge ring around the middle, which is...
... a big amusement park called "Camp Snoopy".  These pictures don't do it justice.  It even has a full-size roller coaster and a water-log ride.  You'll have to see if for yourself.

Dress warm if you go in February.  Daytime high was about 7, and overnight hit -12.
