Welcome to the ORACLE on NT homepage! You're visitor number .

The purpose of this site is to provide practical technical information on improving ORACLE on NT's availability, performance, and ease of management. The focus of this information is on how ORACLE on NT works in practice.

There are many books and sources of information on the ORACLE data server in general. However, there are very few sources of information that address specific requirements, pitfalls, and techniques for successfully running ORACLE on NT. This site aims to skip over some of the more general level information that is readily available, and specifically address information on running ORACLE on NT that is difficult to find elsewhere.

This site has been constructed in a purposefully "non-flashy" fashion. The focus is on the transfer of the necessary and useful technical information rather than cosmetic impressiveness!
