Su-Su MooreEventually she gets tired of trying to type around/over me, and looks over at Dad and says, "Dear, would you ....?" Then Dad says, "Of course, dear" and gets up and goes into the kitchen. He calls us all with the electric can opener, and I jump off the wrist-pad and go eat. I have been here longer than anybody, so, although we all have our own dishes, my step brothers and sister don't ever eat out of my dish, though sometimes they'll share each others'. I think it's important that we each have our own dish, don't you? Stanley and Libby are good at getting hooman tidbits from the big box in the kitchen, by the way. Whenever Mom opens the door to it, they climb right in on the bottom shelf. If Mom is in a good mood (she usually is), she'll pull out the turkey or Dad's leftover steak, and give us each pieces of it. The other day, Mom didn't close the door all the way. When Dad came home, he said, "Hey!!! This was supposed to be my dinner - what's my steak doing on the floor next to the catfood dishes!!???" Stanley had climbed into the big cold box and dragged Dad's steak out and had managed to eat a big chunk out of it before Dad got home.

![]() Mittens PotterI am a furry gud kitty, at least when hoomins are luking at me. About the FOOD thing. Well, one way I get food from hoomins is by being sickningly sweet. This spechially werks fur me, cause I can contrast it wif the behavior of my sisfur, Trashy. Now doesn't that name just say it all!See Trashy comes in the kitchen when the hoomins are fixed dere food and she leaps on the counter and walks all over effury thing (and they become furry things) trying to grab what she can. It gets so bad, that in the morning when the wee hoomin kidlings are making their lunch, she gets locked in the liffing room (now not the way to get fud if you ask me).
Just goes to show dat you haffa no howa tweet hoomins.....you cannot be blindly assertive....the assertiveness must be masked with kitty kindness be it genueyen or just a way to cover up yerz agenda.
Thank you,
