VFR ReVolt

The VFR ReVolt is a gathering of Like Minded motorcyclists, most of whom choose to ride a
Honda VFR. All are welcome to attend no matter what you ride, as long as is has 2 wheels.
The plan for the ReVolt is to gather in Robbinsville, NC and then have 3 days of "day trips" on
some of the best motorcycle roads in the US of A. The most famous of all the roads in the area
is Deal's Gap (aka The Dragon). This road is said to have over 300 turns in its 11 mile strech.
I have been on the dragon, and I can say if you ride a motorcycle, you MUST ride the GAP!! There
are many roads in the area besides the dragon, other roads you may want to try are the Cherohala
Skyway (smooth sweepers) and the Blue Ridge Parkway (450 miles of everything from tight twisties to
to easy sweepers).
I am looking for a couple of group leaders to take groups around the area, we will need people to
lead with various levels of experience and riding styles.
If you would like to attend, we are staying at the Microtel in Robbinsville, NC. Robbinsville is
in the center of all of the good roads in the area. The Microtel will be the point where all of the rides start each day.
I am planning on having a group dinner on Monday Night (6/2). The Microtel is a motorcycle friendly hotel,
they have parking for bikes, an area to wash your bike and have space for your trailer.
You will be responsible for reserving your room. Call the Microtel in Robbinsville (828)479-6772 directly
and tell them you would like to reserve your room for the VFR ReVolt. We are getting a 10% discount on rooms, the
cost with discount for a SINGLE is $53.96 and a DOUBLE is $58.95. If you have trouble with the person
taking the reservation, let them know that this was set up with Billy. If you need a roomie, let me know
I will keep track of requests and can help you find a roomate.
